The campaign wants to help people transform dull, grey outdoor spaces into wild and colourful ones by growing flowers and vegetables.

It was a pleasure to welcome the team from BBC Newsround to Willow Brook Primary for the launch of the Let it Grow: Turn Outdoor Spaces Wild project. Our pupils shared so many ideas about how to develop outdoor spaces and we look forward to seeing all these positive changes over the months ahead as Willow Brook embarks on a joint project with pupils, staff and parents.

Let It Grow has been organised by BBC Radio 2 and BBC Children’s and Education, in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society and conservation charities and we are proud to be playing our part. To read more check out the Newsround article below:
