At the start of December a group of talented singers from across GST schools had the privilege of performing in the Griffin Children’s Chorus annual ‘Celebration of Carols’ concert. Held in the breathtaking and historic St Giles Church in the Barbican, this much-anticipated event brought together over 200 voices, showcasing the power of collaboration and creativity.

The programme featured a beautiful selection of festive music, including timeless classics such as Hark the Herald! and O Come All Ye Faithful, as well as modern pieces like Winter Solstice Song and A Twinkle. The singers performed with great enthusiasm and their enjoyment was infectious. A particularly moving highlight was the performance of Sizalewe Indodana, a South African choral piece that resonated deeply with the audience and embodied the spirit of community and joy that the Griffin Schools Trust strives to foster.

The concert was a true testament to the commitment of our young performers, the encouragement of their families, and the guidance of their dedicated teachers and music leads. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who played a part in making this magical afternoon possible. As we close this chapter of the Griffin Children’s Chorus for the year, we carry forward the joy, inspiration, and unity it has brought to our community!
