We are delighted to report that another GST school has been recognised as an ‘Equal Access School 2024’ by Barclays and The Football Association’s (FA) Girls’ Football Schools’ Partnership. Congratulation goes to Willow Brook Primary in Leyton and this prestigious award highlights the school’s exceptional commitment to promoting equal opportunities for girls in football and celebrates success in creating an inclusive environment for all pupils to enjoy and participate in sports.

As part of this nationwide initiative, GST has again been acknowledged for our tireless efforts to ensure that girls have the same access to football as boys, fostering a culture of inclusivity and teamwork. With growing participation in girls’ football and the development of talented young athletes, we are breaking down barriers and inspiring the next generation of female footballers.

This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the school’s Sports Coach and Sports Team. Their unwavering commitment to creating equal opportunities for all pupils has been instrumental in the school’s success. Through careful guidance and encouragement, pupils have been able to develop their skills, build confidence, and foster a love for football. This recognition reinforces the school’s mission to foster an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
