Perry Wood Primary has marked its 75th anniversary with a day of celebration that brought together pupils, families, alumni and the wider community.
The festivities included a street party style afternoon tea, enjoyed by every pupil as they gathered along corridors transformed into one continuous celebration.
In the evening, the school opened its doors to welcome past pupils, parents, governors, trustees and friends of Perry Wood. Guests were invited to explore an exhibition of historical artefacts, treasured log books, and carefully preserved photographs and documents that captured the school’s proud history. Many shared memories of their own time at Perry Wood, adding a personal layer to the story of the school across generations.
The anniversary was a fitting reminder of Perry Wood’s enduring role at the centre of the community. We look forward to more families joining the school and being part of this wonderful community and sharing in its lasting legacy and bright future.
