What a magical afternoon! Over 170 young voices from across the Griffin Schools Trust came together today for our annual Celebration of Carols.

Set in the beautiful St Giles Cripplegate, in London’s Barbican complex, our students delivered a wonderfully rich programme that showcased their hard work and musicianship. The audience was treated to a journey through diverse styles, from the energetic rhythms of African Noel and the storytelling of Song of the Sea, to the serene beauty of Britten’s New Year Carol.

A standout moment was the finale performance of Sing Noel. We were thrilled to welcome the piece’s composer, John Garner, to the concert. Performing a work in the presence of its creator was a unique privilege for the choir and a perfect way to end the show.

From the unity expressed in We Stick Together to the final applause, the event truly embodied the Griffin spirit of Proud Traditions, Wide Horizons and High Achievement.

A huge thank you to our dedicated music leads, supportive families, and, most of all, our incredible students for bringing such passion and energy to the stage.
