Founders Day 2020 was very special day for our Griffin family and this year the Jewish festival of Purim was used as a springboard for pupils to learn about festivals and celebrations through a wide range of curricular opportunities, such as drama, cooking, music, storytelling art and R.E. Assemblies provided pupils with the opportunity to experience the story of Esther and Maudechai and to boo loudly, using their handmade props and masks.

Founders Day is always an opportunity to give back to the community and local charities benefited from the energetic fundraising and enthusiastic volunteering that is characteristic of our community minded young Griffins.

Another family tradition is our wonderful hospitality and families enjoyed the shared lunches and afternoon teas, tasting freshly baked hamantaschen and being a part of our special day.

A great day was had by all!
