The Griffin Sports Festival (GSF) is the annual celebration of all things sport across each Griffin Schools Trust (GST) school.
The Griffin Sports Festival was first launched in September 2016 to enrich our children’s sporting knowledge and broaden their experiences. We will continue to raise the profile of sport and physical activity both in our schools and local communities by developing strong partnerships and creating opportunities for our children to excel and try new activities.

How does the festival manifest itself in school?
A week focused on sport and physical activity in each GST school, where a high quality programme of different sports is delivered to every GST child and young person.

GSF 2021
This year our Griffin Sports Festival is all about the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022.
With such a great display of sporting excellence due to take place right on our door step, this year’s GSF is the perfect opportunity to celebrate what is to come next summer.
The GSF will coincide with the launch of a Commonwealth Games themed project where schools will use the commonwealth countries they have been assigned to complete a project as we look toward next year’s Games.
