Elian is an experienced strategic communicator. Currently Head of Communications for Radio 4 and BBC sounds, she has also been the broadcaster’s Communications Manager for News and Current Affairs and Media Relations Manager in the Corporate Press Office. Before joining the BBC she worked for the Metropolitan Police, her last role being Senior Communications Officer in the Corporate Press Office. Elian volunteers as a mentor to students from disadvantaged backgrounds to enable them to achieve their goals.
