As we cannot physically bring Challenge 26 to our schools this year, we will be launching a Virtual Challenge 26. The idea is that schools will communicate with students the idea of completing something ’26’ related between the 1st and the 31st May.

We are fundraising for the NHS, as requested by our communities, and we are linking our fundraising to Captain Tom Moore’s heroic physical challenge that has captured the nation and raised so much money.

Let’s all get behind this challenge, both to keep our children a bit fitter and engage with sport, as well as challenged to achieve a goal for a good cause.

To inspire Griffins everywhere, young and old, whether your exercise regime is gentle or strenuous, our very own GST Director of Sport Sarah Collings has set a personal target of running 260km during the month of May, which is averaging 8.4km every day!

As if that wasn’t enough, GST PE lead Karl May from Lordswood Primary will be covering 26 miles a week every week through a mixture of running and cycling during May. Between them, they will travel over 265 miles in May! We wish them luck!
