We’re growing seeds from space!

We are extremely excited and lucky that two of our schools, Lordswood School and Saxon Way Primary School, have been chosen to participate in the Royal Horticulture Society’s, Rocket Science project.

The project will involve our children planting and comparing seeds which have been out in space to those that haven’t. The aim will be to see what growing seeds in space can teach us about life on Earth. The seeds are due back in the spring of 2016 and will help to promote interest in subjects such as Science, Technology and Maths.

Rocket Science project is in partnership with the UK Space Station and is part of British ESA astronaut Tim Peak’s six month mission.
