GAF 2023
The theme this year was ‘Family’.
In 2023 our GAF theme of ‘Family’ enabled us explore how ‘Family’ in its broadest definition can mean many things and involved helping children to feel a sense of belonging as well as thinking about their wider responsibilities from a local and global perspective. In the curriculum, the theme was used to stimulate thinking about difference and diversity, individual loyalties and priorities, and mutual obligations, exploring what we have in common as opposed to our differences.
Well done
We would like to express our thanks and congratulations to the pupils and staff for their creative and inspiring artwork. The time and space for research and creative thinking around this theme resulted in such innovative, diverse and high quality pieces of art, which captured the spirit of our ‘Family’ theme in a variety of ways.
Special congratulations go to Ghaya Maalim from Lammas school, whose unique artwork was voted as this year’s winning competition entry.

GAF is currently solely funded by the schools and GST. It is through the hard work of our staff that GAF has been such a great success.
As GAF grows, we want to sustain the quality of experiences each students receives during the two weeks. By donating to GAF you are helping our students see beyond their immediate surroundings and become exposed to the wonders of classical art.
