In a proud display of unity and shared values, Griffin Schools Trust recently celebrated Founders Day across its family of schools. The day was marked by a series of engaging activities that brought pupils, teachers, families and the whole community together in a celebration of the Trust’s founding vision.

The festivities commenced with a special assembly in each school, where pupils and staff gathered to reflect on our shared values of wisdom, courage and leadership. Emphasising the importance of unity and collaboration, Heads highlighted the journey of Griffin Schools Trust and our commitment to providing Proud Traditions, Wide Horizons and High Achievement.

A key feature of Founders Day is a shared meal, fostering a sense of camaraderie among the school community. Schools either held a communal breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. Beyond providing an opportunity for staff and pupils to connect, some schools also invited families to join.

True to the spirit of giving back, the schools also engaged in various community service initiatives and fundraising activities. From charity drives to volunteering efforts, pupils actively contributed to making a positive impact on their local communities.

Adding an extra dimension to this year’s celebration, the theme of ‘Energy’ was woven into various activities. Pupils participated in workshops, discussions, and hands-on projects centred on the Trust’s theme for the year, promoting responsibility towards the environment.

Griffin Schools Trust expressed its pride in the enthusiasm and dedication displayed by pupils and staff throughout the day. The celebration not only reinforced the Trust’s commitment to its founding principles but also showcased the vibrant energy that permeates through each school.
