Thank you to everyone who made the Celebration of Carols such a success on Thursday 7 December at St Giles’ Cripplegate.
The event was led by our Director of Music, Lewis Delivett, and performed by the Griffin Children’s Chorus, NCS brass and our team of talented Griffin music teachers.
This inspiring and moving concert was the culmination of so much hard work and dedication throughout the year and the ambitious programme included works by Benjamin Britten, Jonathon Dove, Joanna Lee and Franz Gruber.
A special ‘thank you’ goes to Trevor Hounsome, who not only led NCS brass but composed the magnificent Joyful Fanfare that opened the proceedings. It really was a joyful afternoon of music.
Thank you to all the parents, friends, trustees and community partners who attended this celebratory gathering and to all the GST staff for making it all possible.
